Who we are

Tio Microfinance is licensed and regulated by the Central Bank of Uganda. It is one of the largest microfinance institutions in Uganda. Tio has 6 branches located various districts of Uganda.

Tio microfinance uses the branches, internet banking, mobile banking, agency banking, and VISA ATM network to serve customers. Tio offers savings facilities, credit, money transfer services, trade finance forex, and banc-assurance services.

The sectors that Tio is actively involved in are energy, housing, trade, health, education and agriculture among others. Tio targets the gap between micro-enterprises and large or medium enterprises, called the missing middle.
